Purple Grape
As a child, Cary visited her grandparents every summer at their farm in Murfreesboro, TN. Every night, her grandmother would tuck her in to bed, kiss her finger, place the kiss on Cary’s forehead and say “plink.” Cary continued the tradition with her girls, MacKenna and Aila. When MacKenna was little, she used to say “Plinks, Mommy…plinks!” when Cary tucked her in. Every girl should get purple plinks at bedtime.
